Majuro Labor Camp and spend most of thei r timeaaa f e t Lng the labor CI'mlD detail . Four policemen wer-e formerly employedbut one wa~ ~u9pended for 8 ppriod of 90 d~y~ for engaging in a fight earlyin January . See Part II , Sec . A, paragraph 2 (b) of January report No .2.

Englishhae aleo improved greatly and understanding of the men is ~etting to be ofa lesser problem.

On 20 October 1946 inspection vas held by Captain LuckIe, USMC andon 15 December 1946 by CWO Johnson USMC, Marins Barracke, NOB, Kvalalein.Renort of these inspections were of high praise for the near excellentdrilling performance and military beari~ of the men and excellent policeof the area. Fire drill was executed in a rapid manner and was highlypraised. Report of the inspections has been forwarded to the Deputy HighCommission« •
