Simultaneously, the EMA celebrates its 10 successful years of recognizing and rewarding organizations that play a key role in promoting energy efficiency. Basically, EMA is an annual award created to encourage energy management at its best, and recognize and appreciate enterprises that have substantially reduced the level of energy consumption by implementing energy efficient measures and technologies. This year’s Energy Management Awards was held on Friday 4th April, 2014 and hosted by The Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) at the International Hotel. After careful auditing and on-the-spot inspections at various properties, Sarova Hotels managed to scoop the following six awards:
