1. The Town Hall has all the administrative duties of common interest , not explicitly ascribed to other bodies by State or Regional authority.

2. It exerts its duties in collaboration with other municipal districts or with the Province to warrant a good management.

3. Moreover, the Town Hall exerts the State, Regional and Provincial functions delegated or ascribed to it and fulfils its aims with the methods and the ways of its program, if financial resources for their realization are available.

4. To achieve a better quality of services it can delegate its functions to the “ Comunità Montana”.

Sarnano Town Hall

1. The Town Hall promotes the development and the civil, social and economic progress of its own community by the recovery of culture and local traditions, with reference to the values of the Constitution.2. It pursues the collaboration and the cooperation with all the public and private subjects and promotes the participation of the citizens, the social and economic forces , the trade unions to the administrative activities. It encourages humanitarian associations and voluntary service to increase responsibility in the services running and and their working.3. To achieve these aims the Council bases its action on the following principles:

• Safeguarding and development of cultural, historical, environmental aspects of our territory to assure people a better quality of life and a process of economic growth based on tourism, above all. A new Institutional conception of a wider and homogeneous society. Improvement of the quality of social, economic, cultural and sports services offered to people to ensure a balanced development of the whole territory, also by conventions and agreements with other Regional, Provincial and “Community” realities. Promotion of the social function of economic enterprise, both public and private, also by business cooperation. Improvement of all forms of business activities and valorization of local resources directed to increase employment levels, mainly for youth.
