SolutionFollow the instructions in SAP Note 1569624 (Installation/Delta Upgrade of

SAP NetWeaver Gateway 2.0).

Kernel VersionApply the latest kernel patch for your SAP NetWeaver version. You are

recommended to install the latest kernel versions for SAP NetWeaver Release

720.

Support Package Version

Your SAP NetWeaver Gateway release might be running on a low Support

Package (SP). Since the current Support Package includes comprehensivecorrection instructions you are strongly recommended to import the most

recent Support Package. This will ensure the optimal performance of your

SAP NetWeaver Gateway framework.

The current Support Package enhances several functions. To take advantage

of these enhanced functions you must import the current Support Package

since any correction instructions would be too extensive.

Design-Time Tool for OData Channel DevelopmentAs of SAP NetWeaver Gateway 2.0 SP05, you are strongly recommended to use

the Service Builder (transaction SEGW) for OData Channel development.

Prerequisites for Each Support Package

For an installation of SAP NetWeaver Gateway components on top of SAP

NetWeaver 7.02 SP07, or a higher Support Package, the following SAP Notes
