For automatic clearing with the new clearing program SAPF124, only 20 characters are used for grouping the documents according to the criteria defined. For this reason, only fields with an internal field length of a maximum of 20 are allowed in transaction OB74. Solution If you want to use a longer field as a grouping criterion and do not use more than 20 characters in this field (for example, you use field SGTXT (50 places) but supply this field only with information consisting of a maximum of 20 characters), you can maintain the source code corrections. Once you have implemented the source code corrections, the system no longer checks whether a field is entered with a maximum of 20 characters. Make sure that you enter only longer fields in table TF123 for which you use a maximum of 20 characters. Otherwise, documents may be cleared that should not actually be cleared together.
