CLIENT OVERVIEW
BUSINESS CHALLENGE
The client is one of the world’s largest agricultural marketing companies that
processes and markets products for its members under a single brand. Their prod-
ucts are available at most large scale retailers around the world.
Collabera proposed an apt mobility strategy, architecture and solution based on
client’s business needs. The executive sales and operational dashboard application
was developed using OptiMobility, Collabera’s proprietary mobility platform which
seamlessly integrates with all back-end systems (both SAP and non-SAP). The
platform provides ease of development, centralised deployment, enterprise class
security and robust device management solution. The configuration and deploy-
ment of the entire mobility solution was completed in less than 5 weeks.
The client wanted to empower the senior executives with remote access to real time
information to make smart and informed decisions to improve the planning, sched-
uling and utilization of resources across the entire organization. The client decided
to begin the initiative by building a native SAP mobility application to provide
real-time remote access to sales and operational dashboards and detailed reports.
The application was expected to support multiple OS like iOS, Android, Windows,
BlackBerry, and Symbian and handle different connectivity options like GPRS, 2G, 3G
and Wi-Fi operating on a secured environment with a single sign-on. Client wanted
an application with intuitive UI and ease of navigation.

ENGAGEMENT SNAPSHOT
The solution is fully integrated with the SAP BI data warehousing and processing
backbone to extend the BEx queries configured in SAP BI on to mobile device through
a meta data driven approach backed by unique template repositories on boarded in
the mobility server. Templates coupled with rich UI control library for different mobile
platforms helped in developing powerful dashboards.
The application empowers executives with remote real-time access to sales and
operational summary and detailed reports via dash boards and drill down information.
The application’s search feature ensures ease of usage. The application can display
information in various formats like list, bar graph, etc. and allows for multiple drill
downs for detailed analysis.
