The Plant Information Catalog

– PIC provides business context to the tags and

their data by interfacing to the tag data servers

in a generic way. Because of the vendor

agnostic system connectivity provided by both

the MII and PCo products, levels in this

hierarchy can be queried for data using

standard MII Queries or Services. This is ideal

for the SAP EAM solution to acquire

“Measurement Point” exception data to

support the Condition-Based Maintenance

Tags and The Plant Information Catalog

Tags are the name identifiers of the data that is stored within

the historian Name for physical addresses in registers tied to equipment sensors

Tag Governance will maintain the Tags that are used by

What’s Included – Service Scope Successfully deploy in as little as 8 weeks

The initial implementation is based on a limited

project scope with key knowledge transfer that can be

rapidly expanded by the customer across the

enterprise. The scope includes single site, limited

number of areas, users, and materials. The

assumption is that production planning and materials
