Financial Accounting (New) => General Ledger Accounting (New) => Business Transactions => Document Splitting => Classifiy GL Accounts for document splitting. You need to assign this account to category 01000 "Balance Sheet account".

Hi

In Configuration go to

IMG -->Financial Accounting(New) -->General Ledger Accounting(New) -->Business Transactions -->Document Splitting -->Edit Constants for Nonassigned Processes.

Here we will assign Business Area/Profit Center/Segment depending on the Splitting done.

Assign Default Segment for the Controlling Area.

Maintaining default Segment will not do any postings on Default Segment assigned while doing Transactions.

This is Configuration part missing.

Maintaining Default Segment will resolve your issue.

Country IN does not store a hard currency while editing company code

Ex.rate diff.accts are incomplete Posted: Jun 28, 2008 7:53 PM

Hi Gurus,

I am facing this problem when I am trying to resolve the problem using T-Code F-28.

Ex.rate diff.accts are incomplete for account xxxxxx currency USDMessage no. F5063

DiagnosisThe accounts for posting exchange rate differences could not be determined. For the specified G/L account and the specified currency key, the accounts are only specified incompletely. Either the accounts for the implemented exchange rate difference, the accounts for the valuation differences or the balance sheet adjustment account are missing.

Lets say if I create a New GL Account for this particular company code what do I do next then?

I am looking forward for your reply. Than you very much in advance.Sarma

do config at "Prepare Automatic Postings for Foreign Currency Valuation" for keys KDB and KDF. TCODDE OBA1.

You don't need to create a new GL account of they are existing you can use the same.
