What is SAP Enhancement Pack 7 Upgrade?

Major technical upgrade of SAP system

Keep current with SAP’s product support versions

Set foundation for new technology offering such as Fiori mobile apps and HANA database

Has new functionality but will need to review with business departments to determine which ones to implement

Scheduled Go-Live on weekend of October 8, 2016

New Export Functionality

New Spreadsheet Export Formats

Additional formats available to download data

Existing format is still available

Use existing optionIf using existing spreadsheet functionality, select option “In Existing XXL Format”.

Save Selected FormatDo not check this box. Once this box is checked you will not be able to change spreadsheet format.

New feature in FB03 (Document Display) allows user to list related split documents.

Posting with more than 900 lines such as payroll posting are split into multiple documents.

Search Criteria has been enhanced to include filtering options such as “is less than”, “is greater than”, etc.

The Shopping Cart pane command buttons remain frozen and the screen at the bottom has been removed.

Previous Shopping cart pane were at the top and bottom.

The Manage Commands are now in a hyperlink format. Previously, the commands were in button format.

The Delivery Search allows users to select from the dropdown any field available in the search criteria (i.e., Building Code that contains the Storage Location number).

MAC Users with Citrix

MAC OS Sierra with Citrix

Issue: The current Citrix receiver does not work with the new MAC OS Sierra.

Solution: MAC users who installed the new MAC OS Sierra will need to download the new receiver via link below, uninstall the old, and install the new receiver. https://www.citrix.com/downloads/citrix-­receiver/mac/receiver-­for-­mac-­latest.html
