2 SAP Disclosure Management 10.1 - SBR XBRL setup guide
INTRODUCTION
This is a setup guide to use the SAP Disclosure Management (DM) 10.1 solution for the generation of
SBR taxonomy reports. This guide consists of installing the required additional SAP DM software
components, the setup of the NT (Dutch taxonomy for SBR) in SAP DM and configuration of the mapping
in SAP DM.
Below diagram shows the context of the generation of XBRL reports using the SBR taxonomy. The areas
within the dotted line are covered in this setup guide.
Pre-requisites:
The generation of SBR XBRL reports required SAP DM Stack 1100 and upwards.

1. ADDITIONAL DM SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
XBRL MAPPER OFFICE ADD-IN On the client side (workstations) the XBRL Mapper Office Add-in is required. This software components
enables the mapping of XBRL taxonomies.
The software can be downloaded from the SAP Portal:
FUJITSU INTERSTAGE XWAND TOOLKIT On the client side (workstations) the Fujitsu Interstage XWand Toolkit is required if XBRL extensions are
required.
The software can be downloaded from the SAP Portal:
US SEC XBRL CREATION PLUG-IN There is no need to install additional software on the DM server. Only an additional Plug-in needs to be
uploaded and registered in SAP DM. The Plug-in is the same as being used for generating XBRL for the
SEC.
The software can be downloaded from the SAP Portal:
INSTALLING THE XBRL MAPPER OFFICE ADD-IN (CLIENT) After downloading the software from the SAP Portal, click on DM_ST1100_XBRLMAPP.EXE. Please note
that you should download the XBRL Mapper Add-in that matches your SAP DM Stack version. In this case
the Stack version is 1100.

2. SETUP OF THE NT (DUTCH TAXONOMY FOR SBR) IN SAP DM
SETTING UP THE REPORT TYPES IN DM We need three Report types in DM:
1. Data Cache – used for storing the input sheets containing the mapping information.
2. SBR – used for generating the XBRL output reports
3. XBRL Taxonomy – used for storing the NTxx taxonomies
You can create report types in the Report types section in the Administration tab.

Creating the XBRL Taxonomy report type
Create a report type with the following specification
SETTING UP THE PERIODS IN DM We need at least two Periods in DM:
1. share – used for storing the NTxx taxonomies.
2. <reporting period> – used for storing the input sheets containing the mapping information and
the XBRL output reports
INdependent, TRustworthy and Excellent business consultancy
16 SAP Disclosure Management 10.1 - SBR XBRL setup guide
You can create periods in the Periods section in the Settings tab.
Creating the share period

SETTING UP THE REPORTS IN DM We need the following Reports in DM:
1. SBR-Taxonomies – used for storing the NTxx taxonomies.
2. DataCacheSBR – used for storing the input sheets with the mapping information.
3. NL-SBR – used for generating the XBRL output reports
Note: the SBR-Taxonomies report should be attached to the share period. While the other reports should
be attached to the <reporting period> period
You can create reports in the Reports section in the Settings tab.

IMPORTING THE NTX TAXONOMY IN DM The NT taxonomies usually have very long file-paths and very long file names. Therefor it is best practice
to keep the Taxonomy upload folder as short as possible. You can change the location of the Taxonomy
upload folder in the Upload tab in the System Configuration in the Administration tab.
Make the Taxonomy upload folder as short as possible. E.g. C:\T

Now go to the Report tab and create a chapter for your taxonomy in the SBR-Taxonomies report within
the Share period. Name the chapter after the NTxx taxonomy. In this case NT12.
Go to the Upload tab of the NT12 chapter you just created and upload the zipped NT Taxonomy file.

21 SAP Disclosure Management 10.1 - SBR XBRL setup guide
Note: Make sure that your first folder in the zipped taxonomy file is called http. This is very important.
Then the next level should contain the www.xbrl.org folder and the www.nltaxonomie.nl folder.
This might mean that you have to unzip the taxonomy file that you have downloaded from the SBR web-
site and recreate the zip file with the below structure (the www.xbrl.org folder and the
www.nltaxonomie.nl folder contains the content that is used to have)

IMPORTING THE TAXONOMY ENTRY POINT(S) After a successful upload of the NTx taxonomy, you have to import the required Entry points for your
reporting. This depends on your reporting requirements and the available Entry points in the NTx
taxonomy.
In this example we select the
To import an Entry point, go to the Taxonomy Entry Points tab of the NTx chapter where you have
imported the taxonomy. Go the entry point that you need and select it (tick on the left). Now click the
button Import Entry point below.

3. CONFIGURING THE MAPPING FOR THE XBRL REPORT
CONFIGURING THE XBRL REPORT SETTINGS To configure the NTxx taxonomy, you need to setup the XBRL Units, XBRL Contexts, XBRL Taxonomy
and XBRL Footnote. What exactly you need depends on the XBRL you need to generate. In our example
we generate an XBRL file for SBR for Small entities.
In the Configuration tab of the total XBRL file, you can specify the file name of the XBRL file to be
genereated.
NL_SBR Configuration
XBRL Units
We have defined two Units: currency and pure.
Below you find the settings for the currency Unit and the pure Unit.

XBRL Taxonomy
We will use the Entry point for small entities.
XBRL Contexts
We have defined four Contexts: FY16d, FY16i, FY17d and FY17i.
Below you find the settings for the FY16d, FY16i, FY17d and FY17i Contexts.

XBRL Footnote
In our case we don’t need a Footnote
CREATING DATA CACHE CHAPTERS FOR INPUT FORMS Create a chapter in the DataCacheSBR that should contain your input form(s)

26 SAP Disclosure Management 10.1 - SBR XBRL setup guide
Upload an Excel file that contains you input form (or maybe an example that already contains the
mapping information).
Edit the Chapter and Excel should open with your input form. Now start the SAP DM XBRL Mapper in
the SAP Disclosure Management ribbon.
Note: If you are getting an error when starting the SAP DM XBRL Mapper, you probably need to run a
query on the database. Please contact the author of this document to provide you with this SQL query.
You should now see all available mapping options for the XBRL Concepts, XBRL Contexts, XBRL Units
and XBRL Dimensions. In this example we are mapping the Assets value of the current reporting period
from the balance sheet.
Mapping the Concepts
For Assets we need to select the Assets concept

Mapping the Dimensions
For Assets we need to select the Commercial dimension
When all mappings are done, all cells should color Green. If a cell is partly mapped, the cell is colored
Yellow.

4. GENERATE THE XBRL REPORT
To generate an XBRL file, go to the NL-SBR report and select the top node in the hierarchy (NL-SBR).
Now click Create.
The XBRL file will be generated and you will be notified by SAP Disclosure Management when the file is
ready. Go to the Revisions tab and select the applicable revision to download the generated file.

Store the zip file somewhere on your local drive. The zip file contains the generated XBRL file.
You can view the XBRL file in any XBRL viewer. In our case we used the XBRL Viewer 1.2.
