SAN HeadQuarters Version 2.1

Issues Corrected in This Release

SANHQ does not function properly where decimal is represented by comma

In regions where the decimal is represented by a comma (“,”), SANHQ does not function

properly.

Performance report with 7 day time range was unable to run

In some circumstances, a performance report with a time range of 7 days would be unable

to run.

New event alerts added in the Events tab

Events for member remove, added, or change events were not being displayed in the

Events Panel.

2TB drives misreported

SANHQ was not properly reporting 2TB drive information.

Deselecting notifications

SANHQ did not properly honor deselecting notifications for ICMP ping issues.

Short duration TCP retransmit alerts

Alerts were not sent out for short duration TCP retransmit issues detected by SANHQ.

Volumes bound to a single member reported prematurely as bound

Volumes that are bound to a single member are reported as bound before the binding

operation completes.

SANHQ states thin volume is 101% allocated

In some circumstances, a fully allocated thin provisioned volume may display as 101%

allocated.

SANHQ exits when sorting outbound replicas by most recent duration

Sorting outbound replicas by most recent duration may cause the SANHQ client to exit

abnormally.

SANHQ exits when selecting a member or pool in outbound replication panel

Selecting a member or pool in the outbound replication panel may cause the SANHQ

client to exit abnormally.

Inconsistent sort order for replication history

The sort order for replication history was not consistent with other EqualLogic tools.

Allow SANHQ client to update to same build version as server

Even when no data format change occurred, the SANHQ client was required to update to

the same build version as the server when the server service was updated.

SANHQ could not add groups using both IPV4 and IPV6

SANHQ could not add groups using both IPV4 and IPv6 to the list of monitored groups.

SANHQ unable to launch EqualLogic Group Manager applet

In some cases, SANHQ was unable to download and launch the EqualLogic Group

Manager Java applet.

Backwards change in time generates an e-mail alert

A backwards change in time, such as Daylight Savings fall back, generated an

unnecessary email alert.

No error displayed when an incorrect path is entered

The path entered for the SANHQ server share did not confirm that the entered path was

valid.

SANHQ incorrectly reports Ethernet interfaces as “down-network information missing.”

In some cases, SANHQ would incorrectly report all Ethernet interfaces as “Down-

network information missing” for an array.

SANHQ displays a date range that does not exist for a group

In some circumstances, the client will attempt to display a date range that may not exist

for the selected group.

Overstated I/O data

In some cases, I/O data would be overstated if an SNMP poll did not return a value for

SANHQ to use in its calculations.

E-mail alert not sent for group not communicating with server

SANHQ may not send an email alert for a single member group that is not

communicating with the SANHQ server.

Cancelling a SANHQ installation may not clean up all files

In some cases, cancelling an install of SANHQ may not clean up all files installed up to

the point of the cancellation.

Configuration report lists the same volume multiple times

In some cases, the Configuration report may list the same volume more than once.

Archive file unable to open

Saving an archive file and then opening that file while the original SANHQ monitoring

session is still active can cause the archive file to be unable to open.

SANHQ unable to poll a group with firmware version 3.3.2

In some cases, SANHQ may be unable to poll a group with EqualLogic firmware version

3.3.2.

Percentage not displayed when changing the volume capacity view from capacity to percentage.

When changing the view of volume capacity from size values to percentage, the total disk

space did not change to also display percentages.

Group panel flashing

The group panel flashed while checking the status icon.

No information displayed to show that IPV4 address is unconfigured

When IPv4 was not configured on an Ethernet port, no IPv4 information was displayed to

show that the IPv4 address was unconfigured.

Only first IP address displayed when multiple IPV6 addresses configured

When multiple IPv6 addresses were configured for a port, only the first address was

displayed.

Export function did not indicate whether a port was used as an iSCSI or management port.

The export function did not indicate if a port was in use as an iSCSI data port or a

management port.
