4-H Judging - July 11 Pre-fair judging will be held on:

Tuesday, July 11th at Grace Community Church in Fremont.

Only members with non-livestock projects attend this event. Livestock projects are judged at the county fair.

Each club has been assigned a time session for judging. The schedule is included with this newsletter. Please do your

best to attend during your club’s assigned time if possible. It will reduce wait times for everyone.

If you are unable to attend regular judging on July 11th

you may schedule a time for your project to be judged

early. The comments made on your interview and project

will be given to the judge at regular judging so that you

may be considered for awards.

We will be holding early judging on July 6 at the Extension

Office. Please call the Extension Office at 419-334-6340

for an appointment.

Early Judging What to Bring? The requirements for judging vary based on the project.

The Sandusky County 4-H Handbook lists the items

needed for each project under the project description.

The items listed are considered minimum requirements

and members are encouraged to bring any extra

materials they may want to share with the judge.

Can’t Make Either Judging Date? We encourage all members with non-livestock projects to complete their project by attending Pre-Fair judging.

However we also know that sometimes busy summer schedules, family vacations, and work schedules prevent

members from making it to Project Judging. Members can still complete their project by completing a project interview

with their club advisor. (However, youth must attend one of the events above to be eligible for prizes)

Cloverbuds & Canvas Art Day Cloverbud Fun Day! Thursday, August 10th

We could also use a few more Teen Leaders (age

13 and older) to help Cloverbud members

throughout the day.
