• In Monterey median • 60-80 feet high• No road grade separations• Minimizes utilities disturbance• More usable space under viaduct

• Adjacent to UPRR• Major roadway crossings would

be grade separated• Monterey lowered 30 feet at

grade separations• Some minor roadway crossings

would be closed • Includes intrusion barrier

At-grade through Communication Hill, transitions to viaduct in median of Monterey or continues at-grade east of UPRR to Coyote Creek Park.
