Job of a teacher All the teachers have been given an informal environment in whichthey had to imagine themselves in their school times. They had tothink about their ideal teacher with whom they were very comfortablein learning with interest. They also had to think about the teacher towhom they disliked and why?, and then everyone had been given atask to compare themselves with the ideal teacher and the most disliketeacher. It was a good tool to judge him/herself accurately. 18. STUDENT ASPIRATION We conducted SAMVAAD among diverse group (11th and 12th class) and betweenmothers and teachers to find out what are the common issues and how these can beovercome. We followed some rules to maintain better relations with students like Becoming role model Instead of becoming BOSS who say GO we will try to become LEADER whoalways says LETS GO. We (teachers/parents) decided that we will try to understand them before givingthem instructions. 19. LEARNING METHODSInstead of using traditional learning methods this timewe tried some unique styles.Earlier in our home science class students used tocook for the sake of their subject but this time onLABOUR DAY they cooked food for school labors andserved them their selves they learnt happiness of givingand got inner satisfaction. 20. BEHAVIORS ISSUES ACTIONPLANS Introduction of yellow v/s pink card was a great success. Students will get yellow card if they do wrong and will beawarded by pink card if they do something admirable. A conflict committee is made to resolve conflicts. A suggestion box and complain register has been madeavailable for students and teachers so that a democraticatmosphere can be created. 21. CLASS MANAGEMENT Students has made their rules for class collectively and thesehas been displayed in class by them, they have decidedconsequences also. This team work is very effective becausethis time no instruction has been given by teachers. Duties of classroom mgt is also divided in the students, whole class participate in classroom management. 22. SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT School is a place for holistic learning to make its environment healthy wefollowed some rules. Assembly is the best time when implicit values can be flourished. Sharing of experience by teachers in assembly has been started to motivatethem to take initiative as we know There is narrowness behind every silence. Housework has become a team work because now during One house duty oneother house will help in some of its duties so that sense of team spirit can bedeveloped. Each house will do something innovative or creative during its turn because wewill die waiting lets take initiative. 23. VISIONSchool time is the best time for a student to get allround development. Being a teacher oradministrator of a school we have to work like agardener who irrigate land make land fertile putseeds put all his effort to see his plants growing. 24. EXPLICIT V/S IMPLICITCURRICULUM Our expression shows our inner desire Whatever we do, whatever we express there is a hidden story. It was psychologically proved that we all are right because we all haveexperienced different backgrounds. Example- A person who is very violent and aggressive theremight be a hidden story, so whatever he is doing it is his ownpast experience. It is possible that he was also a victim ofaggressiveness , whatever he has got , he is giving. 25. HOW COMMUNITY AND CITIZENSHIPCAN BE USED IN EDUCATION?In schools if we all follow rules we must understand that it is forour own betterment like a country cannot run without law anorder like wise and organization cannot run without rules andregulations but we must keep in mind DEMOCRATIC STYLEI am because we areTogetherness, belongingness, collaboration. 26. Teacher is one who create curiosity and remove all fear in themind of students. She/he teach through his subject thatnothing is impossible because the wordIMPOSSIBLE says I M POSSIBLEA teacher imparts the whole knowledge he/she holds. 27.
