What is it?Organised workflow is a defined cleaning process that enhances workplace hygiene standards through correct task chronologies and application of infection control procedures in the workplace.
It applies three core principles:
How is it delivered?
Task Frequencies
Task chronologies are created for each building area detailing the step-by-step progress of the cleaning function. It targets key infection control locations such as work surfaces, door handles and plates and fixtures and fittings. It programmes the cleaning function to make sure waste receptacles and washrooms are always cleaned last or as an independent task.
When surfaces are clean and dry they are more protected against bacterial growth. In order to maintain surface hygiene and the cleanliness of floors, walls, furniture, fixtures and fittings, we match our cleaning frequencies to the occupancy and use of the building. This means that more intensely used environments are cleaned more frequently.
Targeted items such as handles, fixtures, fittings, welfare surfaces and shared space are subject to daily or more frequent cleans by Samsic teams, including supporting self-service solutions for workplace occupants.

Toucan is a chemical free combined disinfectant and cleaning agent solution that replaces toxic and environmentally damaging chemicals with an on-demand, site generated environmentally sensitive cleaning and disinfectant solution.
What is it?
How is it delivered?Toucan is generated on demand and on site using a base station or smaller generator. It requires tap water, salt and an electricity supply to create an activated hypochlorous solution within four minutes.
Toucan can be used across all surfaces, including washrooms, kitchens, offices, medical facilities and food preparation areas. Samsic UK pioneered the use of the Toucan system in the UK, and we now use it extensively across our client range, including with our National Blood cleaning contract.

These antibacterial handles help prevent cross contamination from one user to the next without the need for chemicals or toxins. Using silver technology, the coating combats pathogens deposited onto the surface by users and then works continuously, 24/7.

Used with the extraordinarily powerful chemical-free Toucan disinfectant, these fogging machines attack airborne pathogens and then, as the droplets begin to settle, they also attack bacteria on surfaces. Due to the nature of the aerosol effect, a large space can be covered quickly and easily without the need for an operative to be present.
The fogging machine is ideal for widespread disinfection and sterilisation, especially in large areas such as warehouses, and environments containing specialist or difficult to clean equipment, such as hospitals.

Phone soap is a small device that uses UV-C light to sanitise mobile phones. It kills in excess of 99.9% of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, molds and other pathogens.
Mobile phones typically hold 18 times more bacteria than washroom fittings and have an direct impact on hygiene and well-being.
Phone soap devices can be placed in meeting rooms, staff welfare areas or other convenient locations. Mobile phones are placed inside and using UV-C light the device sanitises the phone after a 10 minute period. Phones can simultaneously be charged using USB cord.
Phone soap contributes to hygiene and wellbeing standards within office environments and helps prevent viruses and other micro-organisms developing within the workplace.

Samsic hygiene cleaning applies infection control procedures into cleaning methodologies. It helps prevent pathogens being passed within the workplace through cleaning of targeted, high-risk surfaces, higher frequency cleaning and use of hygiene-based cleaning methods and equipment.
Our hygiene cleaning targets daily cleaning of floors and walls and the sanitisation of door handles, desk surfaces and washrooms. We use the sanitising agent Toucan to provide instant surface cleaning and disinfection.
Daily cleaning and sanitising desk surfaces alongside periodic cleaning of IT equipment,laptops, desktop PCs, keyboards and mice. IT equipment can often be dirtier than washroom toilet bowls, meaning regular periodic cleaning of equipment and daily surface sanitising means the highest risk area of the workspace is kept clean.
Keeping surfaces dry helps prevent the growth of most bacteria. Samsic uses flat mops and the ICE Mop cleaning equipment item to improve cleaning and hygiene standards and minimise the potential of surface water being retained following mopping. A flat mop utilising the Toucan sanitising solution will result in your floors being disinfected and cleaned without cross contamination that bucket mops have.

Colour coding is used to help eliminate the potential for cross-infection between different areas of a site. Each area has a specific colour code and all equipment used in these areas must be of the correct code.
Correct application of the colour coding principles is a vital aspect of maintaining a hygienic environment. It is an inexpensive but critical underpinning of our cleaning methodology and business processes.
