Notification received when you successfully submit your name and e-mail address. You should check your e-mail for a unique link to the application.

You will receive this e-mail to the e-mail address you provided at the initial log in screen. You must click the unique link in order to proceed with the application. You can access the application later on from this same link.

There are several different sections within this application which must all be completed.

Within the application, we will ask for contact preferences for different types of contact information. This will help the school district know how to contact you and when.

Required fields are all marked with a red asterisk* The system will not let you proceed without completing all required fields.

When you successfully complete a record for a person (Parent, Emergency Contact, Student), the system will alert you that you completed it with the green checkmark under the Completed status. If it is not complete, the person will be highlighted in yellow and there will be no checkmark. You can add a second person by clicking the “Add New TYPE OF PERSON HERE” button.

This is where the School Choice is made and the student’s seat is reserved. You must select the appropriate grade and campus from the dropdown menu and click on Reserve. If you see the message in blue that says your seat has been reserved, you have a seat. You can switch to another campus that is open by clicking Unreserve.

Grades/campuses that are not yet open or that are filled will not show up within the dropdown menus. The schedule of opening dates is available on the district website at www.stisd.net.

Students will be asked to select and reserve an Advisement and New Scholar Academy session as well. These are requirements for enrollment.

A social security number or TX state ID is required.

If a family has more than one student to enroll, they should not submit the entire application until after the second student’s enrollment record has been created and seat has been reserved. To add multiple students, families should complete enrollment records as possible given the schedule of opening dates and submit once they are all complete. There is an Add New Student button under the listing of completed student records that allows for creating additional student records.

The system allows you to view a PDF of all of the data provided that you can save or print for your records. This allows you to review the information prior to submitting the application.

The Submit button should be clicked once the application is completely finished. For families enrolling multiple children, this should only be clicked once all children have been enrolled. Once the Submit button is clicked, the application will no longer be editable.

You will receive an e-mail in the inbox of the e-mail address provided at the beginning of the process letting you know of any application status change, including submission of the application.

Once your application is submitted, you will no longer be able to access it through the link in your e-mail to make changes. If you must modify any of your information – including making a change to your School Choice or adding another student – you will have to contact STISD Central Office to unsubmit your application and allow you to make edits/updates.
