Father Tilly: Campaign is designed to give players agreater “feel” for the different phases of the ThirtyYears War. Ofcourse it depends on the number of units/figures thatplayershave,butagoodsizedforcecanbecreatedwith1500points. If there ismore thanoneplayerper sidethis amount can be increased (with the agreement ofbothsides).
The force that players create will not be used in itsentiretyeachbattle. It is suggested thateach sidebelimited to a maximum of 1000 points per battle. Thisgives a decent sized game that doesn’t last too long.Playerscanofcourseincreasethisamountordecreaseitiftheyfindthattheyhavemoreorlessplayingtimeavailabletothem.Whatthismeansisthatplayerswillnot be using their entire army each battle. Players should include the name of their own generalamongthenamesoftheirunits.Generalswerelikelyalsotobecolonelsoftheirownregimentsandthesewouldoftenaccompanythemintobattle(ledbyaLieutenantColonel).
