English Language Studies Commission on Elections August 23, 2015 Dear Dr. Marilu Ranosa-Madrunio: Greetings in the name of St. Thomas! The English Language Society’s Commission on Elections (ELS COMELEC) will be holding its Annual Miting de Avance. The event is meant to inform the English Language Studies Society’s (ELSSOC) community of the candidates’ programs and plan of government. Moreover, it aims to engage participation from the society members by allowing them to raise their concerns and questions to the candidates. To accomplish the success of the last day of campaign, we would like to request permission to excuse the ELSSOC members from your 3ELS class on Wednesday (March 25) from 11am to 1:30pm for the Miting de Avance. The ELS COMELEC commits itself to the fulfillment of this Mandatory Debate in an orderly and peaceful manner. We are hoping for your favorable response regarding this matter.
