CHILDHOOD Dali’s goal was to be unique and put his own

mark on the world. His uniqueness led to violence and cruelty

toward his friends. He enjoyed pain and was a mad and

tormented child Dali loved pain and got pleasure by feeling it Dali would stand on his head for a long

period of time to make him hallucinate This outlandish childhood is symbolized in his

paintings.
