At its 9th edition, this past April, expectations were surpassed with the world premiere launches of three supercars while exhibitors enjoyed over 245 million Euro in sales. Top Marques Monaco is unrivalled for its unique experience where visitors can touch and feel the pure power and precision of the supercars and customized luxury cars with test drives on the Monaco F1 circuit.

The event is held annually in April at the award-winning Grimaldi Forum, the ideal location in the celebrated Principality of Monaco. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea the prestigious glass-domed venue acts as a stunning showcase for the cars inside in the Espace Ravel and in the Salon Diaghilev, which houses the luxury products and watches. While outside on the esplanade Top Marques Superboats, forms a spectacular entrance with state-of-the-art day boats under the umbrella of the main show. Taking place at the same time as Monaco’s Rolex Masters Tennis Tournament ensures HNWI traffic from this prominent event to the Top Marques show.

TEST DRIVES: TRANSFORMING TRIALS TO SALES

The event is unique for its ingenious use of the iconic Monaco Grand Prix circuit test drives. Offering VIP visitors the unparalleled opportunity of a test drive of the industry's latest engineering innovations on the F1 track is one of the main reasons why the show draws thousands of high caliber visitors each year – 34,700 visitors, including over 2,000 guests to our VIP Meregalli Champagne Bar at the 2012 show. These guests represent your exact target market. For the second time in the history of the show the test drive circuit was closed to traffic for drivers to experience the fast track sensation and the famous F1 Racasse corner. This unique aspect of Top Marques showcases the supercars and customized luxury cars to brilliant effect making it an easy transition from trial to sale for potential buyers. Down in the Top Marques pits 25 cars and 3 bikes took advantage of this ultimate sales strategy for the 9th edition.

A limited edition of 99 GTA Spano models will be produced. This car accelerates from 0 to 100 Km/h in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of over 350 km/h. Its chassis has been created by combining carbon fibres, titanium and Kevlar, which has become a reference in the automobile sector thanks to its great rigidity and its lightness. GTA Spano has its own V10 engine, which is longitudinally positioned at the rear with 820 HP and a torque of 960 nm.

Pagani has participated at Top Marques Monaco since the inception of the show nine years ago in 2004. Their new V12 twin-turbos Pagani Huayra is powered by a bespoke Mercedes-AMG engine with 700hp and 1000 Nm of torque. This Italian supercar represents the state of the art in design and technology

Outside on the esplanade among the superboats you couldn't miss the life size model (8.5 metres high) of the prototype Lynx SP-1, the space craft that will take the elite few to the stars. The European launch of the Space Expedition SXC spacecraft took place at Top Marques Monaco. The Dutch company proposes space travel into the thermosphere

The annual cocktail party for exhibitors and VIPs was held at the Hotel de Paris for the 9th edition with a selection of supercars displayed outside on the Casino Square

The show enjoys a high concentration of HNWI visitors in part due to its home in the prestigious Principality of Monaco and in part to the calibre and exclusivity of the products on show, attracting those in search of the limited edition cars, rare timepieces and made-to-measure pieces by the finest jewelry houses. Many of the visitors are personally invited thanks to our extensive database and personal connections worldwide. In addition, VIP guests are invited by our sponsors and partners in diverse industries (banking, real estate, yachting, private aviation, luxury hotels within the Principality) and our contacts with exclusive clubs, notably supercar clubs. In 2012 our sponsor Meregalli catered for over 2000 High Net-Worth Individuals in the Champagne Bar; all of whom visit the show to see and touch the top pioneering brands within the niche market of supercars such as Savage Rivale, Tushek, Pagani, Koenigsegg, McLaren, GTA Motor, Fisker, Gemballa, alongside the luxurious brands such as Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin and Lamborghini.
