Today, as founder and CEO of Pordes Residential Sales & Marketing, Mark oversees the sales and marketing of high-end residential condominium and branded condo-hotel projects in the U.S. and abroad. His drive, vision and longevity of experience provide Mark the foundation to build the infrastructure of the best professionals in the industry who successfully reposition assets throughout South Florida’s tri-county area of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Throughout his career, Mark has found success by executing on his aggressive business development and acquisition strategy. Pordes Residential Sales & Marketing builds upon Mark’s proven track record of marketing knowledge and understanding the dynamics of each project. Mark is unique in analyzing an asset, setting up the proper infrastructure, and organizing the sales and marketing program for developers, lenders and private equity firms to penetrate, reposition and sell in today’s marketplace.

His strategy is to attract the most experienced and sought-after talent in the industry – from public relations to creative and interior design firms – and package precisely what each development needs to succeed. Under Mark’s leadership, his team then assembles and provides necessary components needed, from marketing, advertising, interactive / virtual marketing, asset merchandising, and sales team training and execution.

His results are unprecedented in the industry. Over the past 24 months alone, Pordes Residential has repositioned numerous condo projects for unparalleled success. Pordes Residential has sold the most condominium inventory since 2010. Its portfolio currently or has encompassed some of the best-known properties, including Fontainebleau III, the unique Terra Beachside condominiums, and the world-renowned Canyon Ranch, all in Miami Beach. The company also has an equity stake in One Bal Harbour, the upscale condo/hotel in Bal Harbour, Florida.

As a recognized leader in the marketplace, Mark and his team consult with clients and partners to provide updated market studies and the due diligence necessary for large transactions or bulk sales.

Mark also has managed sales projects for South Florida’s largest residential developers. Those include Turnberry Residential, where Mark was VP of Sales and Marketing for 10 years, managing and selling more than 5,000 units. Other notable projects span Brickell Avenue to Aventura and include 10 years with William’s Island, the luxury Santa Maria, Bentley Beach and Bentley Bay on South Beach. His efforts have collectively achieved condominium sales in excess of $1 billion.

Born in New York City and raised in South Florida, Mark attended college in Gainesville, Florida. He currently holds a real estate broker’s license, a Series 22 Securities License and is fluent in Portuguese.

Adam KaufmanDirector of Sales

Adam Kaufman’s career in real estate in many ways parallels the success of the South

Florida luxury condominium and condo-hotel market. As Director of Sales with Pordes

Residential Sales and Marketing, Kaufman oversees all projects under the Pordes

portfolio, which promises to usher in the next wave of ultra-luxury, oceanfront living.

Since 1997, Adam has been a key player in the region’s residential real estate evolution. Over his career, has has been involved in more than $500 million in sales of urban, resort and waterfront condo and condo-hotel projects. In 1997, he helped successfully rollout then sell-out The Yacht Club at Aventura. Since then, he has marketed and sold such projects as Ocean Place Condominium in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea; The Tides Hotel, The Palm and the Breakwater-Edison, all in South Beach; Regalia in Sunny Isles Beach; The Atrium in Aventura; golf course condo development The Blue at Doral; Highland Beach Club in Highland Beach; and the condo-hotel property, Cheeca Lodge Residences in Islamorada in the Florida Keys.

Adam’s success stems directly from the sales organizations he creates and professionalism he instills in and demands from his teams. A leader in the condo-hotel category, Kaufman has trained and led successful teams focused on matching each property’s unique amenities to the target buyer audience. Working with his uncle – himself a successful luxury developer – the two in 2005 created the Fourth Element. Identifying condominiums as the “fourth element” of real estate properties – after residential, commercial and industrial – the educational seminar familiarized and trained brokers and agents on the skills needed to successfully market and sell the condo-hotel niche. Graduates left the program impassioned about the category, which helped improve marketing performance and sales results.

A New York native raised in South Florida, Adam received his B.A. degree in secondary education from Fairmont State College in West Virginia. After a brief career in high school education, in the 1990s he opened a popular ice cream parlor in Hollywood, which he later sold. Like his twin brother, Seth, who is Managing Broker with an area luxury real estate brokerage, Adam is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and is an active member of the Florida Board of Realtors. Adam currently lives in Aventura with his two children, Haley and Jacob.
