Sales Audit Program

1
Sales Audit Program - May 2015 (VBA/Excel) This program was developed for a company that had 46 locations. There were hundreds of commissionable sales a day that involved costly equipment. If the deal was not processed correctly (agreement not attached) then the company would not receive their commission. A program was developed to take various data from the point of sale system and create a list of items to investigate. Without a program, each of the hundreds of sales would have to be checked individually. With the program, a small list of items to investigate was generated. The program then researched each item for accuracy, and then emailed details of transaction errors to the store manager and district manager for repair. Over $50,000 worth of errors were found and fixed within the first 6 months of use!!! This was the main record of each item researched by the program. It was a massive list (occasionally archived) that allowed data analysis of certain items over a large period of time. Some of the data in this report was blurred to protect propriety. All research tools and modes were built into functions within the tabs. This form provided options for which items were checked. After these were identified and checked by the program, the program would automatically email each error to the respective store manager and district manager. These items could then be explained or fixed. If no action was taken on these items, follow up emails would be sent daily (they were escalated to upper management after the 4 th day). This program interfaced directly with outlook to send and receive mail.
