The Dakota Made Annual Female sale was held on Monday, December 9th, 2013 at the Eichacker Sale Facility near Salem, SD. It was a crisp day in South Dakota but numerous breeders added an extra layer and attended the event along with a large number of bidders on DV Auction. This sale marked an end of an era for the senior member of the operation as Raphael passed away this spring and his portion of cows were sold in this sale. Raphael loved Simmental cattle and this passion was started in 1970 when he purchased his first unit of Simmental semen and the passion stayed with him until his passing. His years of dedication result in this outstanding set of seedstock today for Eichacker Simmentals. Along with Eichacker Simmentals, guest breeders were J K Angus and Healy Simmental.
