Carry out day to day account monitoring activities for BWC program under Business Clients segment. Monitor/formulate monitoring tools to ensure compliance with Group and Local, regulatory, and legal requirements. Ensure timely escalation of accounts not complying to account monitoring rules as per CAD.

Key Roles and Responsibilities  

 

1 . Proactive monitoring of characteristics or symptoms that would subject an account to additional review and to recommend accounts for Stressed Account Management

Circulate daily Limit Excess Reports and Past Dues Reports from eBBS and IMEX, OPICS for all BWC clients Ensure customer communication regarding regularization of past due, excesses , OPAC maintenance are performed as per process

standard. Following up with Business & Credit for providing their comments on issues relating to account conduct. Independent verification and recommendations for SAM. Operating Account Status & Utilization Monitoring on quarterly basis Ensure monitoring to identify any shortfall in collateral value in collaboration with RETSO and escalate as necessary.

 

2. Regular monitoring of clients on credit conduct

Ensure that the bureau scrubbing on Business Clients are performed as per policy and escalate credit concerns if any. Aggregate on & off-us working capital limit does not exceed the prescribed threshold as per CAD Total on & off-us debt exceed the prescribed threshold as per CAD

 

3. FX CAT 2 limit monitoring

Ensure periodic reporting of FX past due or failed trades, FX Cat 2 limit excesses, FX MTM losses, FX outstanding confirmations Ensure FM appropriateness are reviewed on periodic basis as per CAD

 

4. Monthly reporting of Accounts Subject to Additional Review (ASTAR)

ASTAR management (including ensuring discipline on timely renewal of BCAs, excess regularization) Conducting ASTAR meetings with Credit, Business & CRC Follow up and driving closures on ASTAR actionable thus ensuring the portfolio housekeeping is maintained and consistently reduced and

controlled Co-ordinate with RMs & CRC to ensure document deficiency is regularized in a timely manner Ensure relationships marked for exit are exited smoothly Ensure facilities are renewed in a timely manner

 

5. Monthly reporting of Stressed Account Management

Tabling of delinquency led accounts and ASTAR led escalations into SAM or dispensation approvals from appropriate authority Follow up and driving closures on SAM actionable for business managed accounts.

Ensure timely and smooth handover / takeover of accounts to and from Collections

 

6. Monthly MIS generation and reporting

Ensure maintenance of robust updated operating process guideline for BC products and relevant MIS covering process and underwriting; conduct periodic review  to ensure internal processes are robust and updated

Ensure accurate monthly submissions of Group reports e.g. AFPQR BUSIENSS CLIENTS and other related regulatory reporting. Coordinate with Collections, CI, Finance, Ops, FRMU and SBIM team to gather the data that are not available within the internal database

and ensure group submissions

 Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications and Skills  

3 years of banking experience preferred Preferably holds a Masters, or at least a Bachelors degree in Business or relevant discipline Good command over Microsoft Office programs (viz. Word, Excel, Access)   Sound leadership skills, communication skills and quick learner. Sound understanding of SME products, system and operating regulations. Good analytical ability and aptitude.
