H1 and H2• Analysis of unseen poetry is a compulsory
section for both H1 and H2. (H1 – single poem; H2 – comparison across texts)
• Students are advised to read at least one poem a day, from different time periods, poets, and on different subject matter. They need to be able to identify and explain use of literary devices and techniques.
