RE: Mr. Sait Mentes Birlik

Dear Sir/Madam:

I am the Executive Director of the GBS|CIDP Foundation International. We are a

non-profit organization founded in 1980 as a self-funded group with a few

volunteers to help others deal with these devastating diseases. We have grown to

become an international organization with over 175 chapters in more than 30

countries.

This letter is an official recognition of Mr. Sait Mentes Birlik as a Liaison for the

GBS|CIDP Foundation International in Turkey. Mr. Birlik will be representing the

Foundation in various capacities, including, but not limited to conducting patient

visitations in hospitals and raising awareness and support for GBS, CIDP, and

related variants.

The GBS|CIDP Foundation International is the preeminent global non-profit

organization supporting individuals and their families affected by Guillain-Barré

syndrome (GBS), chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), and

related syndromes such as multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN) through a

commitment to support, education, research, and advocacy. Our vision is that

every person affected by GBS, CIDP, or related syndromes such as MMN, will have

access to early and accurate diagnosis, appropriate and affordable treatment, and

knowledgeable support services.
