LIGHTING HEARTS ON FIRE “Our Lady of Guadalupe image kits - there are two sign-up sheets on the large bulletin board in the vestibule of the Church. Please consider bringing one of these very special prayer kits into your home for seven days of daily devotion and prayer to Jesus through our Lady of Guadalupe. Each prayer kit contains a framed image of the miraculous image of our Lady, a crucifix, five rosaries, holy water, a devotional candle and simple instructions for reciting the rosary. The prayer kits are located each side of the statue of Mary in the vestibule of the church. We ask that you pick up the image kit after Mass on Saturday or Sunday and likewise return the kit to the foot of the Marian statue on Saturday by 4:55pm. If for some unexpected reason you cannot return the kit on the following weekend please leave a message with the parish office and we will make arrangements for transferring the kit to the next family. THANK YOU.”

END-OF-THE-YEAR CHARITABLE GIFT GIVING Please take advantage of your end of the year charitable gift giving tax deduction and please remember your parish. This deduction can significantly reduce your income taxes while providing meaningful support to numerous financial areas here in our parish.

WHAT A BLESSING! Thank you to all who made Advent and Christmas so special this year. I would like to thank all our parishioners who give so generously all year long to maintain our parish. I would like to thank the special work of the following groups: Altar Servers, Eucharist Ministers, Forest Manor Ministry, lectors, ushers/greeters, Music Ministry, money counters, church & rectory cleaners, decorating team, altar cloth team, altar flower ministry, landscaping team, Baptism class instructor, Bible Study team, RCIA team, Rel Ed Program, Christmas Pageant team, Pro-Life Group, Tricky Tray team, Altar Rosary Societies, Outreach Program, Food Card sellers, Rosary Making Group and the many Walking Pilgrimage volunteers. Once again our decorating teams did a splendid job decorating our church for Christmas. Our parish is truly blessed. Thank you for all your hard work. May God bless you all. With God's blessings and a wish for a healthy and Happy New Year -- Fr. Greg.

OFFERING ENVELOPES Please help yourselves to one box of offering envelopes for 2019. Our money counters empty the envelopes and put the money in the bank. They pass on to our church office the empty envelopes. Once our office receives the empty envelopes they are then entered into our computer so...remember, if you wish us to keep track of your donations for tax purposes, please put your name and amount on each envelope. The free address labels are an easy and fast way to address your envelope. Also, Religious Ed families are asked to put your name on each offering envelope. This helps determine your involvement in our parish.

Christmas Gift Looking for the perfect Christmas gift for your spouse? Why not give yourselves a Marriage Encounter Weekend. A Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend gives you the time and tools to revitalize romance, deepen communication, and nourish the spirituality in your marriage. The next Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend will be held January 25-27. Early registration is advisable as space is limited. Phone 1-732-904-9636 for registration and information. For more information visit us at: www.aweekendforyourmarriage.org.

GENTLE REMINDER... Think of our beautiful church building as your home. Just as you always want your home to be ready to welcome guests and visitors, please be conscious of picking up after you and your family at the end of Mass; readying the church for others. Please replace all misselettes and song books and take the bulletin with you so we all make the church ready to welcome others for worship.
