BISHOP DAVID J. WALKOWIAK ASKS US TO PRAY FOR OUR SEMINARIANS
Loving God, raise up dedicated leaders who will shepherd your people and guide them to your Son. Give generous and willing hearts to the seminarians of our Diocese who have heard your call to live a life of service to the Church. Help us to encourage and support them as they strive to become priests who are models of discipleship, possessors of wisdom and on fire with love for your people. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
We especially pray for: Maxim Farrell

Pre-School thru 2nd grade Children’s Liturgy 10:30AM Mass Today in Children’s Liturgy of the Word, we talked about Jesus’ love for us. We told the children that as was true of His entire life, Jesus’ final words to His disciples are all about love. He reminds them of how much they are loved by God the Father and by Him. “No one has greater love than this,” He says, “to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13) Being in relationship with God boils down to one thing-to extend that uncondi-tional love Jesus shows to us to one another, aided by the grace and strength of the Holy Spirit. God’s love isn’t meant to be kept to ourselves, but to share with everyone. We asked the children to remember how we’re all connected like branches to the vine? As followers of Christ, we are called to love and serve one another as Jesus Christ served us. Let us serve with a heart like Jesus! “This I command you: love one anoth-er.” John 15:17 “Serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” Joshua 22:5 1st-7th Grade Classes-Wed, Parish Hall / 6:15- 7:30 pm 8th Grade Confirmation Classes-Wed, Parish Hall 6:15 - 7:30 pm. Please join us for Vacation Bible School June 25-29 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon each day. Registration forms can be found on the St. Mary’s web site or in the narthex of Church. Anyone age 18 or older who is interested in helping with Vacation Bible School will need to have the Virtus Training. Please go to Virtus.org to get more information and to register for a virtus class. Any questions, please contact Theresa Steffes at [email protected] This Catholic VBS will get kids immersed in the greatest mystery on earth as they spend the week learning about the incredible treasure of the Mass. Investigate the incredible mystery of the Mass and watch kids grow in their love for Jesus in the Eucharist!
