Stewardship Reflection

“To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit.” (1 Cor. 12:7)

St. Paul tells us that God has blessed each of us for a reason. How has God blessed you? Are you using your gifts according to God’s plan? How are you helping to build God’s kingdom here on earth? Remember that if you don’t do the work God planned for you, no one else can do it. Live the life God has intended for you, feel His love, peace and joy!

Men’s 30 Day Faith Challenge What is this?

We all face similar challenges in life. The same pressures in life. And some of the same questions. Many times we find ourselves so busy that we try to ‘manage’ these situations. Instead we should invite God into these situations so we may live in His truth and goodness. Stopping and finding the time to reflect on what God truly desires for us and calls us to be in life is one of our greatest challenges. Chris Stefanick, creator of the MenRise 30 Day Faith Challenge understands all of this. Fr. Brian has recently watched the 30 Day Challenge. Darrin Nelson has watched as well. Now Dave Chemidlin has started watching the 30 Day Challenge. We would like to invite you to participate as well.

How can I participate? First you sign up online by Feb. 1 to receive a 4 min video each day for 30 days. A quick video on real life

situations that we as men face and how God desires to be part of helping us through these challenges. Then you have an opportunity to meet with other men from the parish on five Saturdays during Lent from

7:30 to 8:30 am. This will be a guided discussion on your experience with the videos. Dates are Sat. March 9, 16, 23, 30 and April 6 (coffee and bagels provided).

How do I get started? Important: You MUST register online by Feb. 1 in order to watch videos before we meet. Go to www.menriseup.org and click on the green tab “Click Here to Register”. Please contact either Darrin Nelson or Dave Chemidlin so they know you have signed up and they will give

you additional information. They can also assist you with getting signed up. Email contact information - Dave: [email protected]; Darrin: [email protected]

Our Lady of Guadalupe Devotional

Next weekend, as part of the devotional segment of our preparation year for the Consecration of our Diocese to Jesus through Our Lady of Guadalupe, we will begin the "Our Lady of Guadalupe Traveling Devotional Package” program. Each week a family from our parish will host the Traveling Devotional Package. The Traveling Package includes everything necessary for the hosting family to devote time each day in prayer, praise and adoration to God, Jesus and our Virgin Mother of Guadalupe with confidence that they will guide us and strengthen us in our mission to evangelize all people to our Lord Jesus Christ and that the consecration of our Diocese will bear abundant fruit. Please see the Parish website or phone the parish office for sign-up information if your family would like to volunteer to host our Traveling Devotional Package.
