    First Penance

Next Saturday, 34 of our young parishioners will be celebrating the Sacrament of Penance for the first time. Please keep them in your prayers as they prepare themselves for this sacrament of healing and forgiveness. My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and

failing to do good, I have sinned against You whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with Your help, to do penance, to sin no more and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, suffered and died for us. In His name, my God, have mercy. Amen

    Evening of Reflection

All Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers are invited to attend an Evening of Reflection this Wednesday, November 16th at 7:30 pm in the church.

    Remember in Prayer

We offer our sincere sympathy to the families of Michaelita Guerriero and Isabelita Dimen, who died recently. May their souls, and the souls of all our faithful departed, rest in God’s peace.

    Stewardship Reflection

“…Rather, we wanted to present ourselves as a model for you, so that you might imitate us.” 2 Thes. 3:9 Most people who live a grateful and generous lifestyle don’t go around bragging about it. But through their actions and words, others do take notice. They notice because of the joy and peace that results and other people desire this in their own life. Know that the way you live your life may be the only interaction others have with the Catholic faith.

    .Catholic Campaign for Human

    Development

We will have a second collection next weekend, November 19th & 20th. All proceeds benefit the Catholic Campaign for Human Development which funds programs in communities across the United States. The CCHD helps people living in poverty join together to identify problems, make decisions and find ways to improve their lives and neighborhoods. Your support helps to end poverty through building solidarity in our communities, both locally and nationally. Thank you, in advance, for your generosity.

    Sharing the Gospel

When others are mean to you, God tells you what to say and what to do to keep safe. God loves you and never leaves you helpless. God gives you many people to love you and care for you. Someone down the street may not invite you to a party, but God never leaves you out. He invites you to spend time with him today and to live with him forever in heaven.
