    PARISH STAFF

A warm welcome is extended to all who come to St. Mary’s-Stony Hill to join together in this community of worship and praise to Almighty God. We are grateful to our faithful parishioners and welcome our neighbors and guests who visit us occasionally. We want you to know that you are always welcome! All parishioners should be registered with the parish office. Please notify the parish if you change your address or move out of the parish. Certificates of eligibility to sponsor at Baptism or Confirmation will be given only to registered parishioners who are active and practicing Catholics.

We offer religious education for children of registered parishioners, who attend public school grades 1-8. In addition, preparation for the Sacraments of First Penance, First Holy Communion and Confirmation is also provided for students who attend Catholic schools. Please check our website or contact the Office of Religious Education for information.

Due to privacy laws, we are no longer notified when parishioners are admitted to local hospitals. We are happy to visit sick or homebound parishioners when requested by family members. Please call the parish office to make arrangements. Emergency sick calls can be made at anytime by calling the parish office and selecting “9”. Please only use this option for genuine emergencies requiring a priest.

Baptism: 2ND & 4TH SUNDAY: 12:15 pm—Arrangements must be made through the parish office at least one month in advance. Week of October 1 - 2 (Excludes WeShare):

    Stewardship Reflection

“Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?” Lk. 17:18 Most of us live “easy” lives. We have food, shelter and clothing. We go on vacation every year and own a car or two. Most of us take this all for granted. Did you ever notice that people with the least amount of possessions are usually the most grateful? Shouldn’t this be the other way around? Take time every day and thank God for all He has given you.

    Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who supported our Baby Shower for the Center for Great Expectations. Your generosity is overwhelming! We received the following note to share with you:

    Knights of Columbus

Our Knights of Columbus recently received the Star Council Award! The Star Council Award recognizes outstanding achievement in membership, insurance and service program activities. The award was conferred on Saturday, October 1, 2016. Congratulations to all of our Knights!

Parish Breakfast This Sunday’s parish breakfast is dedicated to Christopher Ingrassia, by the anonymous donation of a Knight. If you’d like to dedicate a future parish breakfast, please contact Grand Knight, Dick Blundin at 732-371-1093.

    Sharing the Gospel

Jesus cured 10 men who had bleeding sores all over their skin. As they walked away, they noticed that they were cured. Their sores were gone and their skin was smooth. Nine of them ran to show their families and friends. They were happy. Only one man went back to thank Jesus for curing them. God loves you. Thank him for your family and friends. Thank him for healing you and giving you everything you need.
