The people of Saint Lucia use this time to celebrate their history and culture, you’ll find

parades and festivals on at this time which embraces all things traditionally Saint Lucian. Your

client can get dressed up in Saint Lucia’s traditional madras clothing and taking part in the

festivities.

Health and Wellness Retreat

30th October to 2nd November 2014

Saint Lucia has the most spas in the entire Caribbean, so it was only a matter of time before

we launched a ‘health and wellness retreat’. Your health conscious clients will visit workshops

hosted by leaders in the area of health and wellness as well as have a range of experiences

including, but not limited to yoga, feng shui, art, cuisine, pottery, photography, wellness, spa

and cooking classes.

Saint Lucia Triathlon

November 2014

Human Race has brought the triathlon to Saint Lucia! A number of events take place during

the competition; including a Beach Swim, Beach Run and an Aquathlon (Swim/Run). As well

as a number of island receptions including a Pre-Race Reception Party, Post Event BBQ with

Prize Giving on the beach and a spectacular Sunday Ocean Boat trip for all competitors.

Gommier

1st week of December 2014

50 boat racing enthusiasts will take part in Gommier a 40 minute race across the Caribbean

sea, which starts in Martinique and ends in Saint Lucia. What makes this race special is that

competitors will be racing in traditional Caribbean wooden canoes made from the Gommier

Tree.

Saint Lucia’s 2014 calendar of Events

ARC

5th to 20th December 2014

Your clients can enjoy watching the yachts come in from the ARC regatta, an annual

transatlantic race which starts from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and ends in Rodney Bay

Marina (there are now two stages to the race, enabling yachtsmen to have the option of

sailing to Saint Lucia via Cape Verde) By 12th December when the majority of the

yachtsmen have arrived in Saint Lucia, your clients will find a variety of activities and parties

taking place to celebrate the end of the race and the safe arrival of the yachtsmen into the

island.
