Respect Life January 22, 2018 will be the 45th anniversary of legal-ized abortion in our country. Many activities are planned to mourn the millions of children killed by abortion since the heart-breaking January 22, 1973 Roe v. Wade decision. On Monday, January 22nd, there will be a Sanctity of Human Life Walk & Rally sponsored by the Central Illinois Right to Life. The Vigil before the Walk starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Riverside Church parking lot, 207 N.E. Monroe St. and then will proceed to the Federal Courthouse. After the Vigil, the group will return to Riverside Church for the Rally will a remarkable speaker, Jason Jones. He is a film pro-ducer, author, activist, and human rights worker.

On Wednesday, January 24th, Bishop Jenky will offer a Holy Mass to pray for the end of abortion and for un-born babies, at the Cathedral at 7:00 p.m. followed by Eucharistic Adoration with Confessions.
