Sacrament of Baptism: The Sacrament of Baptism should be celebrated as soon as possible after birth. Therefore parents should contact the parish office prior to the child’s birth. This will allow adequate time for the necessary preparation of the parents and the Godparents.
Sacrament of Reconciliation: On Thursday’s from 6:15-7:00 PM at St Gerard or by appointment.
First Reconciliation and First Communion, Sacrament of Confirmation: Please contact the Coordinator of Religious Education (María Morales) for more information.
Sacrament of Marriage: Requires at least nine months of preparation before the Marriage. Contact the Pastor, through the parish office, to start the process.
Pastoral Care: Please contact the parish office if you are aware a parishioner sick and desires to receive the Eucharist, Anointing of the Sick or a visit from the Pastor.
Parish Registration forms are available through the office and under the bulletin boards in the commons.

The word, posada, means an inn. To the humble Mexi-can the re-enactment of the Holy Family's quest for lodgings is a ritual of deep religious significance. This year the Posadas, will begin on the December 16th and end on Christmas Eve. It will be hosted at a different home each night.

NOVENA Our Lady of Guadalupe December 4 - 12 NATIONAL PRAYERS FOR LIFE
St Andrew’s is participating in the National Night of Prayer for Life on
December 8, 2017. This is a beautiful evening of Eucharist Adoration
and prayer for the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural
death in solidarity with the churches across the nation. The Blessed
Sacrament will be exposed at 8:30 pm following the 7 pm Mass for the
Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception and will end with Benediction
at 1 am. The night will include Gospel readings, the Rosary, Divine
Mercy Chaplet and silent prayer. The hour of solidarity with parishes
across the country begins at midnight. Please prayerfully consider
spending time with our Lord on this night during the Advent season to
pray for the dignity of the human person. Please contact

We are prostrate here before your holy image, that we left on the tilma

Our Savior, the Church asks us to prepare and to make room for His
Coming to us again. The Church reminds us to make use of the great gift
of the sacrament of Reconciliation to strengthen our relationship with
Jesus and to draw closer to Him.

th. The class begins at 6:30 PM. We
start with Mass; please arrive at 6:15 PM. K-5 classes are on Sunday at 10:45 am.

EVERYONE’S catechetical responsibility flows from the waters of baptism. At baptism, all Christians are commissioned to share in Jesus' ministry. This is an essential part of being Christian. To be baptized is to stand as one of Jesus' disciples, ready to do his work. Please act on this responsibility and become a catechist. For new catechists, training will be provided on February 3

ADVENT. Beginning the Church's liturgical year, Advent
(from, "ad-venire" in Latin or "to come to") is the season encompassing the four Sundays (and weekdays) leading up to the celebration of Christmas. The Advent season is a time of preparation that directs our hearts and minds to Christ’s second coming at the end of time and also to the anniversary of the Lord’s birth on Christmas. The final days of Advent, from December 17 to December 24, focus particularly on our preparation for the celebrations of the Nativity of our Lord (Christmas). Advent devotions including the Advent wreath, remind us of the meaning of the season.
Discovery, for those in grades 9-10; a peer-ministered retreat which encourages teenagers to discover their own identity and their relationship with
