The story.

A little saiga lives in the steppe. His name is Fast. He is dodgy and clever. He has got a father, a mother and a sister. His father is strong and brave. His horns are big and long. His mother is kind and good. His sister is funny and merry. Fast has got a lot of friends: a gopher, a hamster, a hedgehog, a small eagle, a jerboa, a camel, a hare.

They play together, eat green and juicy grass and walk. The gopher can juggle. The hamster can crawl. The hedgehog can draw. The small eagle can fly fast. The jerboa can skip. The camel can play chess. The hare can turn a hop. The saiga can swim well.

One day Fast meets a wolf. The wolf is bad and cruel. He wants to catch Fast and eat him. But Fast’s friends help him. The small eagle scratches the wolf’s back, the gopher bites his leg, the hamster throws stones to the wolf. The wolf runs away.

In the evening Fast goes home. He sees a fox on the road. He is afraid of the fox. His friends help him again. The camel kicks the fox, the hedgehog pricks it and the fox runs away.

• Near his house Fast meets a snake. The snake is angry and it begins to attack Fast. Fast and his friends fight with the snake. The jerboa jumps on the snake, the hare beats it with a stick and the snake crawls away.

• The mother- saiga is very glad to see Fast’s friends. The mother- saiga gives them a big cake. They are very happy. They sing and dance together.
