Building on this you will examine key stylistic features of selected music genres, analyzing the musical and technological aspects of each genre as well as the social, political and technological contexts surrounding their conception. Throughout the audio post-production units, an exploration of the theory and history behind film sound will take you on a journey teaching you about different cinema sound formats, synchronization, and methods and approaches to reinforce a film’s tone using music and sound.

Foundation In addition to the fundamental components of audio production, business management, marketing, and communications, and elements of Web and graphic design are covered, all of which are all explored within the context of the audio industry. You will acquire research and information literacy skills, as well as skills in academic writing, oral presentation, and computing skills. You will learn fundamental business planning and principles of intellectual property and copyright law.
