Remark : when aluminum is used as a grain refining element the Al% (total) content is not less than 0.020 when lead is required a range of 0.15 to 0.35% is specified. Such a steel is identified by inserting the letter “L” ex. 10L45 a) the following ranges and limits are commonly specified: 0.10 max, 0.10-0.20, 0.15-0.35, 0.20-0.40, 0.30-0.60
