SAE Test Plan Software for MIL-STD-1553

offer integrated solutions for the performance

of the ‘SAE AS4111’ and ‘SAE AS4112’ Test

Plans.

These script packages work together with AIM’s

MIL-STD-1553 test & simulation cards and the

PBA.proTM Databus Test & Analysis Software.

The PBA.pro-SCR-PTP-E script package takes full

advantage of AIM’s MILScopeTM cards which

have the onboard integrated Digital Scope

function.

PBA.pro-SCR-PTP-P (Production Test Plan)

AIM's PBA.pro-SCR-PTP-P dedicated scripting package is designed to run the MIL-STD-1553 'Protocol Tests' in accordance with the 'SAE AS4112' Remote Terminal Production Test Plan. This package requires the use of AIM's

MIL-STD-1553 test & simulation cards and the PBA.proTM

Databus Test & Analysis Software including the Test & Script Manager Component.

General:

The Scripting Packages offer full simulation of a

MIL-STD-1553 testing device. The independent Bus

Monitor functionality of the interface modules supports

an optional monitoring of the entire test procedure

MIL-STD-1553 traffic, extended by corresponding

‘Event Markers’ for an easy correlation between the

captured traffic and the performed test cases.

Setup of UUT parameters (e.g. subaddresses, illegal

commands) as well as global test parameters is done

via a simple ASCII encoded configuration file.

Dedicated script package related PBA.proTM dialogs

allows the user to run and configure the test procedures

with a minimum of operator interaction, e.g. for

production testing. However, full access to the test

procedure via the PBA.proTM Test and Script Manager

also supports UUT integration testing by manual

execution of test steps, if required.

PBA.pro-SCR-VTP-P (Validation Test Plan)

AIM's PBA.pro-SCR-VTP-P dedicated scripting package is designed

to run the MIL-STD-1553 'Protocol Tests' in accordance with the

'SAE AS4111' Remote Terminal Validation Test Plan. This package

requires the use of AIM's MIL-STD-1553 test & simulation cards and

the PBA.proTM Databus Test & Analysis Software including the Test

& Script Manager Component.

PBA.pro-SCR-PTP-E (Electrical Waveform Test)

AIM's PBA.pro-SCR-PTP-E dedicated scripting package supports the

validation of MIL-STD-1553 'Electrical Waveform Tests' in

accordance with the 'SAE AS4112' Remote Terminal Production Test

Plan.

This package takes full advantage of AIM's MILScope MIL-STD-1553

test & simulation cards which have the onboard integrated Digital

Scope function used together with the PBA.proTM Databus Test &

Analysis Software for capturing and measuring MIL-STD-1553

waveforms in accordance with the test plan.

A detailed ‘White Paper’ which lists the supported tests as well as

further requirements for the use of the Scripting packages is

available on request.

UUT Integration Support and/ or Training on the Scripting Packages

can be offered as additional costed options, based on the PBA.proTM

1-day or 2-day Training Packages.
