On behalf of the Coastal Bend Blood Center, I would like to personally thank you for hosting your blood drive Sunday at Sacred Heart - Rockport. Our projection was 11 donors and we saw a total of 13 donors! All thanks to your amazing work. The Coastal Bend Blood Center, patients and hospitals across the Coastal Bend, send a HUGE thank you for all of the time and effort you put into making this blood drive a success. Our final number of units drawn were 12, this is the equivalent of 36 lives saved (remember, each whole blood donation has the ability to save up to three lives).

Dear Parishioners, I would like to extend a great big, heartfelt thank you to each of you who have assisted the Columbian Ladies in our ministry of providing funeral luncheons for our parish families in mourning. To those of you who have donated food, your time, made countless phone calls organizing food donations, worked the luncheons, donated funds, and prepared food—you’ve made such an impact in serving our faith community! A special thank you to the Knights of Columbus for providing our monthly meeting meals; to the Columbian Ladies themselves who have served on committees, held office and stepped up to the call for action in performing mission duties; and to our sister organization, the Guadalupanas who have likewise answered the call. It is a wonderful thing that you have all so kindly contributed to serving our parish families in their time of need.. Thank you for making a difference! SHS is now taking applications for employment for a full-time custodian. Successful candidates must provide references, pass a Criminal History check and a drug screening, work well with our staff and students, and maintain a respectful demeanor. The custodian's hours are 9:30am-6:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Successful candidates will understand the importance of working with/around our school family while maintaining a safe and healthy campus for all.
