door garden, reflecting the thoughtful-
ness of the kind donors and preserv-
ing the memory of family and friends.

Sacred Heart Church established the
Meditation Garden and Walkway as a
lasting memorial of its faithful mem-
bers and supportive friends.
The Garden serves as an oasis for quiet
reflection and prayer. The Walkway pre-
serves the memory of past and present
parish members and their families and
friends.
The landscaping includes a small pond
with trickling water fall, soft music, and
a natural bounty of Spruce, Dogwood,
Burning Bush, Liriope, Pygmy Barberry,
Maiden Grass and annuals.
The walkway is lined with “Stations of
the Sacred Heart” depicting moments
of compassion and humility in the life
of Jesus, the Sacred Heart.
Amish-style garden benches comple-
ment the pathway and allow visitors a
place for rest and reflection.
Cost of a memorial brick is $30. Each
brick allows three lines of text, 16 char-
acters and spaces per line. Acknowl-
edgement cards are available at the
church office. For further information

God looked around his garden And found an empty place,
