The retreat master again this year will be Fr. Zachary of the Mother of God who is member of the Society of our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT). His appearances on EWTN as well as his worldwide travels enabled him to help teach and lead Catholics to live their Baptismal promises by responding to the universal call to holiness. Kosch. Pope Benedict spoke of a Eucharistic springtimein the Church, which he prays may spread increasingly in every parish”. This springtime will be evidenced when many more people pause in silence before our Eucha- ristic Lord to engage in loving conversation with Jesus, and many young people rediscover the beauty of praying in adoration before the Most Blessed Sacrament. You can still join the 54-Day Rosary Novena—that began on Satur- day, August 15th (The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary) and will end on Wednesday, October 7th (Our Lady of the Rosary Memorial). This is a nationwide call to pray for the upcoming election and for peace in our country, whatever the results may be. We have room for people at most Masses: There is room for about 60-70 people per Mass, even with the closed areas. Weekday Masses have generally had about 30 people, with room for 30 more.

Wearing masks is encouraged. If you can maintain 6 feet distance from non-family members at all times in church, a mask is not strictly required. But it does help you avoid spreading the virus, if you happen to be, on that day, a carrier of the virus who has no symptoms. (~40% of cases).

Reminder to pray well at home: If you are not able to attend Sunday Mass, please remember that you have the privilege and duty as a Baptized Catholic to worship God as best you can on Sundays. Keep making time for prayer at home, such as participating in the Mass online or on TV, reading the Bi-ble, and/or praying the Rosary.

If you or others around you are at risk, please stay home. We will continue to livestream 7:30 am Mass on Sundays, as well as some weekday Masses. Go to: www.Facebook.com/sacredheartlincolnNE

The new missalettes are in a box in the back of church. You may take one to use at home, or to bring back-and-forth to Mass. If you take a missalette, please do NOT give it back unless you are asked.
