Saari

The Saari collection is a seating system of chairs, armchairs, sofas and benches designed for restaurants, bars, hotels and lobbies. A synthesis of classic and contemporary, its sculptural shape is enhanced by a wide range of colors and materials. Available as chair, armchair, bucket seat and a one-, two- and three-seat sofa and bench. Wood and metal frame upholstered in fabric or leather is mounted on a four-leg steel base which can be lacquered, chromed or veneered. The armchair and bucket chair are also available with trestle base, with or without castors.

Designer

Lievore Altherr Molina

Lievore Altherr Molina was founded by Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr and Manel Molina in 1990. Their humanist design approach is informed by the fundamental desire for pure, beautiful forms derived from the constraints of function, technology and context. Distinguished by a multi-disciplinary method that engages furniture, interior, product, and package design, their work has been globally exhibited and acknowledged. They are the recipients the prestigious National Design Award (1999) in Spain where they practice and teach extensively.
