supplement

describes the differences

between the Saab 900 Turbo Convertible

and

the Saab 900 models described in the

Owner s Manual.

The

supplement describ

es

how

the.Saab 900 Convertible should

be

handled

in daily use

and

provides informa

tion

on

the safety

measures

hould

be

followed . Read this supplement together

with

the

Owner s

Manual

and

then

keep

it

in

the car.

General safety precautions

•

When

raising

or low

ng the

top, keep

secured to the

windshield header on both sides, or that

it is in the fully

lowered

position.

seat area or people stand

The

top

can

also

be

lowered

and

raised

manually

in the event

of

a system fault)

after opening a valve inside the trunk. The

valve is located on the right side at the

ex

treme

fi·ont of the trunk,

Then grip the center of the rail and lift

the top.

the top by means of the two latching

handles. Check

top can also be lowered

of the backlight, be careful not to scratch or

damage

the defogger wires.

Cloth top: Wash using

mild soap suds,

lukewarm water and a sponge. Rinse the

top \ ith enough clean water to remove all

traces

of soap

any cleaner off the

body

paint as it

may

cause streaks if allowed t drv on the

If further cleaning is required after using

soap

foaming cleaner on the entire top. Scrub
