GRIPEN FOR CANADA

• The Government of Canada has initiated a competition to acquire a fleet of 88 advanced fighter aircraft

• Sweden has been approached to be part of the competition

• Discussions between the Canadian Government and the Swedish Government are ongoing

• We expect the Canadian Government to issue an RFP in 2019

• Expected first aircraft deliveries in 2025 with IOC in 2026.

• Saab strongly believes that Gripen E would be the perfect fighter for Canada
