Here are pics of some of the worst accidents in and around Johannesburg.

All these accidents happened in the two weeks between the 22 December 2004 and 5 January 2005.

Please circulate this as a gruesome reminder of what speed, drinking and driving and reckless driving can lead to.

Remember all these vehicles were transporting somebody’s loved ones; be it there parents, sibling, children or spouses. It’s scary to think that it could just as easily been one of your loved ones.

Please buckle up and be safe on our roads and lets keep the fatality rate down this year.
