We will enjoy games with Corn hole, face painting, craft tables, & ice breakers. Gradye will be signing his book, Our Connectional Church, which we will be studying in the following weeks. Reservation forms are in the pewholders to sign up for dinner. Women’s Fellowship – Sunday, October 14 – 3-5 p.m. Soup exchange. We will also be making bookmarks for shut-ins. These Days, daily devotionals for October-December are available at the entrances to the sanctuary. Christian love and sympathy is extended to Sue Kennard on the loss of her brother. Some of their scholarships require time at a church. The FCPC Youth Council approved providing an internship with a stipend for our great youth program. Sam Philips, son of the Rev. Dr. Buran Philips at Westminster, will minister with Ashley to our terrific teens. Sam Phillips is a senior religion major/German minor from Knoxville, TN with an interest in urban ministry farming. He hopes to use the skills and education he has learned at Maryville College to further his education at a Presbyterian Seminary. He would love to be ordained in the Presbyterian Church. He hopes to get connected with a church or organization focused on bettering communities affected by food insecurities. He is the moderator of the Progressive Christian Community on campus. He also is the site recovery coordinator for the Food Recovery Network. He is also a very active participant in religious life on campus (i.e. chapel, Church and College Scholar). The Rev. Dr. Anne D. McKee has been the Campus Minister at Maryville College since June 2001. This year she is also serving as the moderator of the Presbytery of East Tennessee. Anne is married to Dr. Mark D. Hulsether, who teaches at U.T. Mark and Anne have two young adult children and live in Maryville. 

Fountain City Presbyterian LOVES children in worshipTo make families more comfortable we have worship bags that contain a clipboard, a “boogie board”, markers, crayons and colored pencils in the wagons located in the Narthex and outside the sanctuary near the chancel.
