Student Ambassadors and Volunteers for Organ Donation (SAV'D), is a new national student group promoting organ and tissue donation, particularly among young people. We aim to encourage interested medical and university students from other degrees to become advocates and activists in their local universities and communities, educating others and raising awareness about the issues affecting organ donation, in order to change the status quo and increase the rates of organ donation and transplantation in Australia.
We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and interested students to take leadership positions within SAV’D to help run advocacy and awareness events, develop policy and become leaders in changing Australia’s shameful status as having one of the lowest organ donation rates in the developed world.
