2012 FREEHILLS WOMEN’S MENTORING PROGRAM
The Freehills Women’s Mentoring Program is an annual event organised by Freehills and the UNSW Law Society. The Program pairs female identifying law students aspiring to enter the legal profession with successful female legal professionals.
Mentors come from all sectors of the legal profession, including the bar, private practice, the corporate sector, the public sector, judges, academics and legal advisers.
The objective of the Program is to provide Mentees with an invaluable insight into, and broaden their understanding of, the life of a legal professional.
Mentors and Mentees will be introduced to each other at the Program Launch Night and will be given the opportunity to organise additional casual meetings to cement a personal relationship with one another.
Typically, mentees are 3rd, 4th or 5th year undergraduate law students, or 2nd or 3rd year Juris Doctor students. If you wish to be considered for the Program, please fill in the following online form by Friday 20th July 2012. Successful applicants will be contacted via email and will be required to attend the Launch Night on Monday 30th July 2012 at the Freehills Office. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact Ava Hurley at [email protected]
