Biographical Note

Rowen W. Rains was born during October 1824 in Kentucky. He moved to Greenfield, Indiana and wasregistered for the Civil War draft. He married Mary and they had two daughters. Mary died and he livedwith his daughter Rosa E. Keller in Huntington, Indiana in 1880. He is listed in the Huntington Citydirectory in 1911. No death date was available.
