S-VMX Server (Como server)S-VMX System Server is the core of Teleste Video Management

System. It is hosting multiple functionalities needed in modern video

management system.

Web Access Server

The System Server is responsible for user rights management including arbitration of

priorities. It is managing communication and handling system alarms.

Web Access Server acts as the gateway between the Video Management System and

the Client. It provides operator with the user experience over an http interface.

Stream Reflector provides the video content to the Clients not capable of receiving

standard video . It transcodes the video streams into MJPEG format

Device Controller provides a universal communication and control gateway for

devices connected to the S-VMX system..

Database Server stores the configuration of system and component parameters into

the database.

It provides support for georeferenced maps, which are utilized on the user interface in

order to have a map view of the video system with camera locations. The GIS Server is

using Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standard interface for accessing map data.


S-VMX – Server hardware platform

• All S-VMX components are available as ready assembled and

• tested packages of application specific S-VMX software and

• IT friendly rack server.

• The most commonly used PC platform for S-VMX components is

based on 1U high rack server.

• Three years hardware warranty with next business day on-site

support


• The S-VMX NVR It is responsible for recording audio and video streams.

• It is available in different hardware formats depending on the requirements for

cabinet space, video storage capacity as well as for backup functionality.

• The standard NVR is delivered with an entry level 1U hardware for low budget video

storage. The professional NVR comes with higher storage capacity with RAID support

and redundant power supply.
